Swiss expat, Phuket resident
I handed over a vintage Omega that hadn't been touched in fifteen years. The evaluation was thorough and unhurried — they photographed every stage and kept me informed. What came back was running properly, looked considerably better, and came with a written record I hadn't had before.

Bangkok, visiting Phuket
Dropped in a dive watch that needed a battery and a resistance check before a trip. They confirmed it was properly sealed — something I couldn't just assume from the old gaskets. Ready the next day. Appreciated the straightforwardness.

The case refinishing was done properly — the brushed flanks were kept as brushed and the polished bezel came up cleanly. It doesn't look over-polished or like it's had a rough buff-over. A bit more lead time than I expected but the result was worth it.

My father's watch had been sitting in a drawer for years. I brought it in not knowing what to expect. They were patient about explaining the condition, honest about what was and wasn't possible, and the overhaul brought it back to something he would recognise. Very glad I didn't leave it in a drawer any longer.

Three watches came in for different reasons — one for a battery, one for refinishing, one for a full overhaul. All handled separately and correctly. The documentation was a nice touch — I now have a service record for each piece, which I didn't before.

I dive regularly and rely on my watch. The resistance check here is actual equipment — dry and wet tests, not just a gasket swap and an assumption. Knowing the seal has been properly confirmed matters a lot when you're at depth.

Three Jobs, In Detail
Challenge
A 1970s Swiss Movement, Stopped
An inherited dress watch had stopped running. The owner knew roughly what it was but had no service history. The movement had been stationary for an unknown period.
Approach
Full Overhaul, Staged
Complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, inspection of each component. A mainspring showed early fatigue and was replaced with a period-appropriate specification part sourced from a European supplier. Reassembled, regulated, pressure tested at crown.
Result
Running at +4 sec/day
Movement running within comfortable vintage tolerance. Owner received staged photographs of the process and a written service record. Timeline: 18 working days.
"I didn't expect it to run as well as it does. Having the photographs of the process was something I hadn't anticipated — it feels like I know the watch better now."
— A.K., Phuket
Challenge
Sport Watch, Visibly Worn
A frequently worn sport watch with significant surface wear on the case and bracelet. The owner used it in and around water but hadn't had the resistance confirmed in several years.
Approach
Refinish & Full Resistance Check
Bracelet and case ultrasonically cleaned. Micro-polishing along original surface lines — brushed flanks restored, polished bezel dressed. New gaskets throughout. Dry and wet pressure tested to the case rating.
Result
Confirmed to 10ATM
Watch passed both stages of pressure testing and left with surfaces restored to their original character. Timeline: 6 working days.
"The fact that I got actual test results — not just 'we changed the gaskets' — was what I came for. The finishing was a bonus."
— T.C., Phuket
Challenge
Daily Quartz, Pre-Travel
A visitor needed their quartz diver serviced and resistance confirmed before a diving trip. Time was limited — they were leaving in four days.
Approach
Quartz Service, Prioritised
Battery replaced with correct specification, contacts cleaned, seals renewed at crown and caseback. Pressure tested same afternoon. Completed within 24 hours given the timeline.
Result
Ready for the Trip
Watch collected the following morning with resistance confirmed and a short health note. Client had their watch in time.
"They were honest about what was needed and what wasn't. No attempt to add unnecessary work — just what the watch required."
